You guys are NOT going to want to miss Scott! We are so pumped to welcome him from Spokane.
"A songwriter whose music is sincere, heartfelt and powerful fusion of folk and soul, Scott Clay was born in 1982 in Spokane, Washington. Born Scott Schweiger, he grew up in a household where gospel music was favored, and his family’s participation at their hometown church reinforced these roots.
When he was fourteen, Scott discovered his mother’s classical guitar in his bedroom closet and taught himself to sing and play. By his early college years Scott found himself exposed to his first studio sessions with his college-band ‘Back to One’ where they released an EP entitled ‘Shimmer and Fade’ in 2001. In 2005, Scott moved to Seattle where he quickly met up with producer David Loy and began work on his first full-length album ‘Colorful Thing’. After its release in 2007, Scott moved to South America to spend years volunteering and traveling, where the material for his second full-length album ‘Price of a Life’ was written.
When he returned to Seattle, Scott recorded and released ‘Price of a Life’ in 2017, which was self-produced and mixed by Jordan Borders. Later that year, Scott met long-time producer and engineer Conrad Uno, and together they recorded ‘Fool’s Journey’ which was released in late 2017. In 2018, Scott was introduced to Johnny Sangster and Rachel Field of Crackle and Pop Studios where they recorded and released his ‘Garden Songs’ EP in 2018 and ‘Summer Lullabies’ EP in 2019."
