Damian Magista (Bee Local, Food Cart) and Lucas Longacre (Original Fare, Food Cart) are excited to present CHOMP! a food film festival.

CHOMP! Will be held at the Mayfly Taproom in Portland Oregon on September 7th from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, featuring short films by local artists Mila Zuo, Kelly Cox, Lucas Longacre, Damian Magista, and Cooper Johnson. Hosted by Dirk Marshall of the popular VHUS Podcast and Marshall’s Haute Sauce.

Magista and Longacre conceived of CHOMP! to explore our relationship to food through film. This inaugural event’s theme is horror. Filmmakers will be on hand for Q&A and networking after the programming.

Films include: Food Cart, Carnal Orient, Dirty Bird, Creature Comforts, and more.

Portland’s own Pono Brewing company has created The Hunger, a special release Imperial Red Ale and food by a yet to be announced food cart.

Tickets are $30.00 and include 1 beer, 1 plate of food, and entry into the raffle with prizes donated by local makers Apogee Knife Gallery, Greater Goods, Wild Craft Cider and Marshall’s Haute Sauce.
