I met Rob in May through Katie Prinsen when he had recently finished building the Beaumont location of Prince Coffee. When Rob first walked through the Mayfly space with me his eyes lit up as he thought about all of the possibilities; the layout, the wooden beams, and the windows provide many opportunities for creativity. I was drawn to his energy and enthusiasm, and I loved seeing his previous projects. We ended up designing Mayfly around our original gut-feeling about the space and then tweaked the details from there.
Everything about Rob made me sure that he was the right person for the job and I’m extremely grateful to get the chance to work with him. We can’t wait to make our vision a reality and show it to the people of Kenton.
